CALENDARIO DELL’AVVENTO / РОЖДЕСТВЕНСКИЙ КАЛЕНДАРЬ – 21/12/2019

TRADIZIONI DI NATALE – Liguria // РОЖДЕСТВЕНСКИЕ ТРАДИЦИИ – Лигурия

Ogni anno sotto Natale, in Liguria, e soprattutto a Genova, viene tenuta la tradizionale manifestazione del Confeugo (Confuoco) che risale al XIV secolo. La cerimonia è legata alla storia della Repubblica di Genova. Viene celebrata il sabato che precede il Natale, e serve per dare il benvenuto all’anno nuovo (nel Medioevo il Natale coincideva con l’ultimo dell’anno). Storicamente durante la cerimonia il popolo rendeva omaggio alle autorità della Repubblica donando un tronco d’alloro con rami decorati con nastri bianchi e rossi (colori della bandiera di Genova). Il dono veniva consegnato dall’Abate del Popolo al Doge con un saluto solenne riferito per conto del popolo. Di seguito il tronco veniva bruciato per buon auspicio davanti al palazzo Ducale, e i presenti cercavano di portarne a casa un tizzone come portafortuna. 

Oggigiorno le celebrazioni sono presiedute dal Sindaco e dall’Arcivescovo di Genova.

В Лигурии, а в особенности в Генуе, в предрождественский период по традиции проводится старинная церемония “Конфуоко”, истоки которой восходят к ХIV веку. Она исторически проводится в последнюю предрождественскую субботу. В давние времена в ходе данного торжественного действа народ приветствовал правительство Генуэзской Республики, в качестве символического подношения священник, выступавший в качестве представителя народа, подносил Дожу срубленное лавровое дерево, украшенное красными и белыми ленточками (под цвет Генуэзского флага). Затем дерево сжигали перед герцогским дворцом, и присутствовавшие на церемонии старались подобрать и унести с собой кусочек головешки от костра “на удачу”.

В настоящее время главными действующими лицами на данном мероприятии являются мэр и архиепископ Генуи.
