VALENTINO E VALENTINA (ITALIANO)
C’era una volta in un bosco uno gnomo di nome Valentino. Era timido e piuttosto solitario, ma aveva una grandissima passione per il giardinaggio. Infatti, il suo giardino era una meraviglia: pieno di fiori variopinti in tutte le stagioni e, di conseguenza, anche di bellissime farfalle. Tutti gli abitanti del bosco, soprattutto gnomi ed elfi, venivano ad ammirare il giardino di Valentino. Pur essendo taciturno e riservato, Valentino non era affatto burbero. Permetteva a chi ne faceva richiesta di vedere i suoi fiori da vicino e lasciava entrare persino bambini a cui piacevano tanto le farfalle, facendogli promettere di far attenzione di non calpestare le aiuole e di non rompere le piante.
Nello stesso bosco, poco distante da Valentino abitava una gnoma di nome Valentina. Era molto socievole, sempre pronta a chiacchierare con qualcuno, e sapeva fare dei dolcetti deliziosi. Valentina adorava fiori e spesso andava a chiedere al suo vicino giardiniere di prepararle un mazzetto di fiori per decorare e profumare la casa. Lui non le diceva mai di no, anzi, gli sceglieva sempre i fiori più belli. In realtà la vicina gli stava simpatica e lui era sempre felice di vederla, ma per timidezza non osava mai dirlo. La gnoma Valentina per ricambiare il favore era solita di portare a Valentino un po’ dei suoi dolcetti: muffin con la glassa alle fragole, crostatine ai frutti di bosco, torte di mele e pasticcini con la crema.
Valentina credeva che al giardiniere piacesse il silenzio; pertanto, quando veniva a prendere i fiori cercava di trattenersi dalle conversazioni per non infastidire il vicino taciturno con le sue chiacchiere. Non poteva certo immaginare che Valentino vedendola sentiva sempre una grande gioia, sperando di trattenerla un po’ di più per offrirle una tazza di tisana al tiglio e scambiare due parole con lei, ma, essendo tanto tanto timido, non trovava mai coraggio per proporlo. Così ogni volta lei se ne andava con il suo bel mazzo di fiori profumatissimi e lui con un grande sospiro andava a prepararsi la tisana e, mentre la beveva, riguardava le cartoline di auguri ricevute dalla vicina per varie feste. Bisogna sapere che Valentina era conosciuta nel bosco non solo per i dolcetti, ma anche per la gentilezza, inoltre le piaceva molto disegnare e scrivere cartoline per amici e conoscenti.
Così passavano giorni e mesi. Valentino aspettava sempre con più impazienza ogni nuova visita di Valentina, senza mai decidersi di svelarle la sua simpatia.

В одном лесу жил гном по имени Валентин. Он был довольно застенчивым и предпочитал держаться особняком, и он был заядлым садоводом. Его сад был поистине восхитителен. Круглый год в нём что-нибудь цвело, и его охотно посещали красивые бабочки. Обитатели леса, особенно гномы и эльфы, часто приходили полюбоваться его цветниками. Сам садовод Валентино, несмотря на молчаливый и замкнутый характер, вовсе не был ни угрюмым, ни неприветливым. Он разрешал всем желающим рассматривать цветы вблизи. Даже детям, трепетавшим от восхищения при виде разноцветных бабочек, вход в сад не воспрещался, их только просили соблюдать осторожность, чтобы не помять клумбы и не повредить растения.
Неподалёку в том же лесу жила гномиха, которую звали Валентина. Она была настолько общительной, что могла разговорить любого, а ещё она умела готовить чрезвычайно вкусные сладости. Валентина обожала цветы и часто обращалась к соседу-садовнику с просьбой собрать для неё благоухающий букет для украшения дома. Тот никогда не отказывал и всегда выбирал для неё самые красивые цветы. По правде говоря, он относился к соседке с большой симпатией и всегда радовался её приходу, но из робости никогда в этом не признавался. В знак благодарности гномиха Валентина обычно приносила садовнику что-нибудь из своей восхитительной выпечки: кексы с земляничной глазурью, пироги с ягодным джемом или яблоками, кремовые пирожные.
Валентина полагала, что сосед любит тишину, и поэтому, приходя за цветами, старалась поменьше болтать, чтобы не утомить молчуна Валентина. Она и представить себе не могла, насколько он всегда бывал рад её видеть и как надеялся, что она вдруг задержится у него в гостях чуть подольше, чтобы выпить вместе с ним чашку липового чая за приятной беседой. Впрочем, застенчивость не позволяла ему ей это предложить. Так что каждый раз, когда она уходила со своим красивым благоухающим букетом цветов, он провожал её печальным вздохом и отправлялся пить свой чай в одиночку, разглядывая поздравительные открытки, полученные от соседки по разным поводам. Надо сказать, что Валентина была известна обитателям леса не только благодаря сладостям, но и из-за её доброжелательности, кроме того, ей очень нравилось рисовать и подписывать открытки для друзей и знакомых.
Проходили день за днём, месяц за месяцем. Валентин ожидал каждого очередного посещения Валентины со всё возрастающим нетерпением, по-прежнему не решаясь обнаружить перед ней свою приязнь.

Quel giorno Valentina si svegliò di buon’ ora perché aveva tantissime cose da fare. Doveva mettere in ordine la casa e preparare tante cose buone da mangiare, perché aspettava ospiti. Dopo il caffè di ghiande (sì sì, si può fare il caffè anche con delle ghiande tostate, gli gnomi lo sanno preparare molto bene) si è messa subito al lavoro. Pulì tutto per benino, e poi si accorse che i fiori nel vaso si erano appassiti e non facevano più una bella figura. Quindi Valentina decise di andare di corsa dal giardiniere per prendere un po’ di fiori freschi per abbellire e profumare la casa. Ahimè, i dolcetti non erano ancora pronti, ma non c’era del tempo da perdere. Gli ospiti potevano arrivare da un momento all’altro. Allora Valentina decise di scrivere una letterina di scuse e ringraziamenti da portare a Valentino.
Quel giorno Valentino era, come sempre, in giardino a zappare, tagliare, riordinare, trapiantare. Era tanto indaffarato che non si accorse nemmeno dell’arrivo di Valentina. Se la trovò davanti, alzandosi da un’aiuola e diventò rosso come una peonia. Valentina si scusò per la visita senza preavviso e chiese se il caro vicino potesse darle un po’ di fiori per decorare la casa. I due gnomi andarono insieme a scegliere i fiori dall’aiuola più grande e colorata del giardino. C’erano fiori di tutti i colori possibili e immaginabili, sopra le corolle svolazzavano numerose farfalle. Ad un tratto, quando Valentino e Valentina si chinarono per scegliere una rosa, rimasero intrappolati. Gli gnomi finirono insieme nel retino da farfalle dell’elfo Cupido che era conosciuto nel bosco come gran monello. Cupido stava dando la caccia alle farfalle nel giardino con un grande retino e non riuscì a resistere alla tentazione di fare uno scherzo alla coppia di gnomi. Superato lo spavento e l’imbarazzo iniziale per il fatto di stare così stretti uno all’altra, gli gnomi iniziarono a cercare la via d’uscita. Non era affatto semplice liberarsi, visto che stavano molto stretti. Tanto stretti che potevano sentirsi reciprocamente il battito del cuore.
- Come facciamo ad uscire da qui? – chiese Valentina un po’ preoccupata.
- Stai tranquilla, ci penso io! – rispose Valentino, tirando fuori di tasca la sua cesoietta da giardinaggio e osando per la prima volta di guardarla in faccia…
E qui è successa una cosa strana… Per un attimo gli sembrò di perdersi negli occhioni blu della gnoma. Lei, a suo turno, si arrossì e abbassò lo sguardo. Entrambi ebbero la sensazione di percepire una specie di magia che li stava avvolgendo.
Valentino tagliò il retino dell’elfo-biricchino, che nel frattempo scappò abbandonandoli al loro destino, ed aiutò Valentina ad uscire fuori. Dopodiché si fece coraggio, la prese per mano e le rivelò che vederla nel suo giardino rendeva le sue giornate migliori e gli riempiva il cuore di gioia. Poi frugò un attimo nel suo carretto di attrezzi e tirò fuori una scatola di latta colorata. La aprì e, arrossendo, mostrò alla sua vicina tutte le cartoline di auguri ricevute da lei.
Valentina, stupita ed emozionata da una tale confidenza dello gnomo, in risposta lo abbracciò e gli diede un bacio. Disse che in realtà anche lei cercava sempre delle scuse buone per recarsi nel meraviglioso giardino di Valentino non solo perché le piacevano fiori, ma anche perché le piaceva anche lui, ma si vergognava a dirlo.
Alla sera l’elfo Cupido, che si sentiva un po’ in imbarazzo per lo scherzo fatto quella mattina ai due gnomi, decise di andare a chiedergli scusa. Andò prima a casa del giardiniere, ma non ci trovò nessuno, la porta era chiusa e non c’era luce nelle finestre. Allora Cupido si diresse verso la casa di Valentina dove invece vide la luce accesa e udì musica e risate. Sbirciando dalla finestra spalancata, l’elfo vide Valentina e Valentino seduti al tavolo pieno di dolcetti deliziosi. I due gnomi bevevano la tisana al tiglio e conversavano allegramente. Avevano tante cose da raccontarsi. Entrambi sembravano talmente felici di passare la serata insieme, che Cupido non osò a disturbarli e in punta dei piedi andò via senza far rumore…

В тот день Валентина проснулась спозаранку, так как у неё было много дел. Ей нужно было навести порядок в доме и наготовить кучу вкусных блюд. К ней собирались прийти гости. Выпив кофе из желудей (да-да, гномы мастерски готовят кофейный напиток из предварительно обжаренных желудей), она тотчас принялась за работу. Дом вскоре заблистал чистотой, только вот увядшие цветы в вазе выглядели не слишком привлекательно. Тогда Валентина решила сбегать к садовнику за свежими, чтобы украсить и наполнить ароматом свой дом. К её сожалению пирожки ещё не подоспели, но ждать было некогда. С минуты на минуту могли прибыть гости. Тогда Валентина наспех написала письмо с извинениями и благодарностью и, прихватив его с собой, отправилась к соседу.
В тот день Валентин, как обычно, ухаживал за своим садом: полол, подрезал, наводил порядок, пересаживал. Он был настолько погружён в свои занятия, что даже не заметил, как в калитку вошла Валентина. Поднимаясь с колен перед ухоженной клумбой, он столкнулся с соседкой нос к носу. Садовник покраснел, словно пион. Валентина извинилась за то, что пришла без предупреждения, и спросила, не мог бы дорогой сосед дать ей немного свежих цветов, чтобы украсить дом. Гномы вместе отправились выбирать цветы к самой большой и яркой клумбе сада. На ней красовались соцветия всевозможных цветов, над которыми порхали многочисленные бабочки. Вдруг, когда Валентин и Валентина нагнулись над бутоном розы, они оказались в ловушке. Оба гнома попали под сетку сачка для бабочек эльфа Купидона, славившегося своим шаловливым характером. Купидон ловил в саду бабочек большим сачком и не устоял перед соблазном подшутить над парочкой гномов. Когда прошли первоначальный испуг и ощущение неловкости, вызванное неожиданной близостью, гномы принялись искать выход из ловушки. Сачок был тесным, и выбраться из него было не так-то просто. Гномы были так тесно прижаты друг к другу, что было слышно, как учащённо бьются их сердца.
- – Как мы отсюда выберемся? – озабоченно спросила Валентина.
- – Не волнуйся, сейчас я всё сделаю! – ответил Валентин, вытаскивая из кармана садовый секатор, и впервые осмелился взглянуть ей прямо в лицо…
И тут произошло нечто необычное… На мгновение ему показалось, что он вот-вот растворится в бездонной глубине голубых глаз гномихи. Она же покраснела и опустила глаза. У обоих возникло ощущение, будто их обволакивает какое-то особое волшебство.
Валентин разрезал сетку эльфа-шалуна, который тем временем уже сбежал из сада, оставив их на произвол судьбы. Гном-садовод помог соседке выбраться из сачка, а затем, набравшись смелости, взял её за руку и признался, что её посещения всегда очень радовали его и наполняли сердце счастьем. Валентин порылся в своей тележке с инструментами и извлёк оттуда яркую жестяную коробку. Слегка покраснев, он открыл её и продемонстрировал соседке все те открытки, что он получил от него.
Валентина была смущена, удивлена и взволнована таким откровением гнома. В ответ она обняла и поцеловала его. Настал черёд гномихи признаться, что она тоже всегда искала подходящий повод для того, чтобы заглянуть к Валентину в его чудесный сад. Причём не только потому, что она любила цветы, но и из-за того, что ей нравился сам садовник, но она стеснялась ему об этом сказать.
Тем вечером эльфу Купидону было немного стыдно совершённой утром шалости, и он решил извиниться за неё перед гномами. Сначала он отправился к садовнику, но там никого не было, дверь оказалась заперта, а в окнах не горел свет. Тогда Купидон пошёл к домику Валентины, где горел свет и слышались музыка и смех. Заглянув в распахнутое окно, эльф увидел Валентина и Валентину за накрытым столом. Гномы пили липовый чай, угощались восхитительными пирожными и весело беседовали. Им было что рассказать друг другу. Оба выглядели настолько счастливыми в тот вечер, что Купидон не решился их беспокоить и на цыпочках бесшумно удалился…
