17 dicembre. I nostri gnomi hanno sparso la voce della nostra accoglienza, ed ecco che arriva un nuovo ospite: uno gnomo scandinavo di nome Tomte.

17 декабря. Наши гномы с воодушевлением рассказывают всем подряд о жизни в нашем доме, и вот результат: у нас новый гость – скандинавский гном по имени Томте.

Tomte arriva dalla Svezia dove svolge la funzione di un aiutante di Babbo Natale. La sua mansione natalizia principale consiste nella distribuzione dei regali ai bambini. A volte aiuta i tagliaboschi a scegliere l’abete più bello e più adatto per decorare la piazza principale della città. Per indicare l’albero giusto Tomte si arrampica in cima e inizia a muovere la punta e i rami più alti per attirare l’attenzione dei tagliaboschi.

Finito il periodo natalizio, Tomte si sceglie una casa per soggiornarci durante la parte restante dell’anno, diventando un folletto protettore della casa. Se i padroni della casa lo trattano bene, gli aiuta volentieri a tenere la casa in ordine, accudire gli animali, far divertire bambini. Qualora venisse trattato male, Tomte si arrabbia (è molto permaloso!) e inizia a fare dispetti.

Se volete far felice Tomte, preparategli per colazione la pappa dolce al latte con i fiocchi d’avena o riso, aggiungendo nel piatto un po’ di burro, marmellata o frutta e nocciole o mandorle.

Томте родом из Швеции, где он выполняет функции помощника Деда Мороза. Его основная новогодняя обязанность – разносить детям подарки. Иногда он помогает лесорубам выбрать самую красивую ёлку, наиболее подходящую для украшения главной площади города. Он забирается на нужное дерево и начинает раскачивать его верхушку и ветки, чтобы привлечь внимание дровосеков.

По окончании рождественско-новогоднего периода Томте выбирает себе дом, где он поселяется на оставшуюся часть года, становясь домовым. Если хозяева дома с ним хорошо обращаются, он помогает им в домашних делах, уходе за детьми и животными. Если же приём приходится ему не по душе, Томте сердится (он очень обидчив!) и начинает пакостничать.

Если вы хотите порадовать Томте, приготовьте ему на завтрак сладкую овсяную или рисовую кашу на молоке и добавьте в тарелку немного сливочного масла, варенья или фруктов и орехов.

Ricetta della pappa di fiocchi d’avena // Рецепт приготовления овсяной каши

Per preparare 1 porzione di pappa mettete 3 cucchiai pieni di fiocchi d’avena, versateci sopra 1/3 di bicchiere di latte caldo e 1/3 di bicchiere di acqua, aggiungete zucchero o miele. Mettete il tutto nel pentolino sul fuoco non troppo alto e portate al bollore, mescolando. Spegnete il fuoco. La pappa è pronta. Se volete farla venire ancora più morbida, mettete il coperchio e lasciatela riposare a fuoco spento per qualche minuto.

Для того, чтобы приготовить 1 порцию каши, залейте 3 полных столовых ложки геркулеса 1/3 стакана горячего молока и 1/3 стакана воды, добавьте сахар или мёд по вкусу. Поставьте кастрюльку с полученной смесью на не очень большой огонь и доведите до кипения, помешивая. Выключите горелку. Каша готова. Если вы хотите, чтобы она приобрела ещё более мягкую консистенцию, закройте её крышкой и оставьте настояться в течение нескольких минут при выключенной горелке.
